This policy applies to Sudoku Nova on Android and iOS. It does not replace the SphereOfDevs website privacy policy.
2. About the app
Sudoku Nova is a logic puzzle game with progression (XP, quests, in-game cosmetic shop). You can play without creating an account - progress may stay on your device. You may sign in with Google or Apple to sync progress across devices when cloud save is enabled.
Store bundle ID: pl.sphereofdevs.sudokunova.
3. Data we process
3.1. Local device storage
Without sign-in, or when cloud is unavailable, we may store on device:
- game progress (level, XP, coins, unlocks),
- settings (language, sound, haptics),
- current puzzle state,
- tutorial and UI flags.
This data is not automatically sent to us until you use cloud sync.
3.2. Account and cloud save (Supabase)
When cloud sync is configured, we use Supabase for authentication and database hosting. This may include:
- an anonymous technical account and/or Google / Apple linked account,
- user identifiers from the auth provider,
- game profile data: nickname, avatar, cosmetics, level, XP, coins, mode stats, daily rewards, wheel spins, quests - with server-side anti-cheat for currency and rewards.
Custom avatar photo: if you opt in to sync, the image may be stored in private Supabase storage.
Legal bases (GDPR): Art. 6(1)(b) (service performance) and (f) (legitimate interests - progress integrity and security).
3.3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows rewarded ads (e.g. extra wheel spins) via Google AdMob. Google may process:
- advertising identifiers,
- ad interaction data,
- device/OS/language metadata.
On Android we use UMP consent; on iOS you may see App Tracking Transparency when applicable.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) where required; otherwise legitimate interest (funding the free game).

3.4. No sale of personal data
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing.

Hosting region follows your production Supabase project settings.
5. Retention
- Local data - until app uninstall or clear app data.
- Cloud account - until deletion request or as required by law.
- Server logs - per Supabase project configuration.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability (where applicable), object, and withdraw consent.
Account / cloud deletion: use Sign out in app settings. For full erasure of cloud-linked data, email contact@sphereofdevs.com and describe your sign-in method (Google/Apple).
EU users may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.
7. Children
The game is rated 12+. We do not knowingly collect data from children below applicable store age limits without parental consent. Contact us if you believe a child provided data.
8. Security
We use HTTPS, database RLS, and server-authoritative economy updates. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
9. Changes
We post updates at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
